Job Responsibility:

  • Test samples receipt
  • To perform mechanical tests in laboratory as per internal and external standards
  • To prepare samples for microstructure analysis tests (Cutting, Mounting, polishing, etching)
  • Microstructure analysis of products (General Microstructure, Grain Size, %Fe, Inclusion etc)
  • Concentration checking of various water, acid & alkaline
  • Test report preparation of all lab tests
  • Test results entry in PPC system for 3.1 MTC
  • Execution of Retesting, Replicate Test, IMC, ILC & participation in PT as per ISO/IEC 17025 guideline
  • Ensuring safety and 5S within work area as per company guidelines
  • Inform superior in case any abnormality observed during sample preparation, testing etc.
  • Reports to QM, TM & Lab In charge for mechanical & corrosion tests
  • Flexibility in: Coordinating Third party inspection and its associated activities
  • Preparation of Product Test certificate and verification (3.2 MTC & IBR Form IIIA & IIIB)
  • Daily heat treatment records verification
  • Distribution of QAP, Procedures, Work instructions and monthly graph’s hard copies at shop floor
  • Incoming inspection & PDC process
  • EHS Responsibility: Follow EHS guidelines and procedures, reporting hazards and potential improvement areas and participating to improve their work environment.
  • Work according to Alleima’s Safety Principles towards the vision of zero har
  • Authority: To operate mechanical & metallography test equipment's & perform tests
  • Accountability: To fulfil the customer requirements

Requirements:
