Job Responsibility:
Provide technical expertise and leadership to the operations of either power & recovery OR pulp department
Contribute to meet objectives for safety, environmental, quality, cost, and production performance
Develop and/or implement projects to meet SEQC&P objectives
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related Engineering field (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Paper Science, Industrial)
Experience in power, pulp, or paper area of operations preferred
A working knowledge of power, chemical recovery, and pulp mill operations is preferred
Competent user of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with a group as a team member and the capacity to lead by example while ensuring employee accountability to all department requirements
Willingness to work shift schedule as required
Successful completion of a selection process that could include interviews, an employment background check, a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, reference verifications, aptitude tests (for some positions), and a fitness-for-duty test (for some positions)
Nice to have:
