Job Responsibility:

  • Effectively prioritizes sitewide projects and interfaces with support functions and facility resources to drive projects to successful completion through project governance
  • Indirectly manages resources and may directly manage resources
  • Independently plan, execute, and direct cross functional engineering projects or programs, that may cross traditional product lines
  • Apply new approaches to problems encountered through adaptations and modifications of standard engineering principles
  • Accountable for project or program performance, schedule and manage project costs (all financial aspects)
  • Identify and resolve complex problems, including the development of new design experiments, without supervision
  • Provide supervision to project support staff, such as contractors, engineers, and technicians
  • Formulate and recommend engineering policies and technical work in accordance with project and business objectives
  • Develops or participates in the development of solutions to problems specific to assigned project
  • Writes and/or executes qualification protocols for various pieces of equipment
  • Optimize manufacturing processes and equipment by identifying process improvements
  • Develops projects from feasibility and concept development through testing, implementation, operational start up and training
  • Works with manufacturing and other functional groups on manufacturing regulatory compliance issues
  • Designs and performs routine testing, project experiments, analysis of data and reports results
  • Develop and provide guidance on project management standards, tools, and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or above in an Engineering field required (Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
  • Project Experience will be considered an asset
