Job Responsibility

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Engineering department
  • Ensure the hotel’s building systems, equipment, and guest areas are maintained to the highest standards
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs
  • Oversee capital projects and repairs
  • Ensure life safety compliance
  • Support all departments by maintaining a safe, efficient, and well maintained property
  • Supervise and develop the engineering team
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors
  • Manage departmental budgets
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and local regulations

Requirements

  • 5+ years in hotel engineering or commercial facilities maintenance
  • 2+ years managing a team
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs, life safety systems, vendor oversight, and capital planning
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
  • Experience in hotel engineering or facilities management is required
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends or on call shifts when needed
