Job Responsibility:
Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Engineering department
Ensure the hotel’s building systems, equipment, and guest areas are maintained to the highest standards
Manage preventive maintenance programs
Oversee capital projects and repairs
Ensure life safety compliance
Support all departments by maintaining a safe, efficient, and well maintained property
Supervise and develop the engineering team
Coordinate with vendors and contractors
Manage departmental budgets
Ensure compliance with brand standards and local regulations
Requirements:
5+ years in hotel engineering or commercial facilities maintenance
2+ years managing a team
Experience with preventive maintenance programs, life safety systems, vendor oversight, and capital planning
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
Experience in hotel engineering or facilities management is required
Strong leadership and problem solving skills
Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends or on call shifts when needed
