Our client is expanding their Engineering Division and is seeking a dedicated Engineer to join their dynamic team in Uckfield. Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks
  • Identify and diagnose equipment faults
  • Carry out emergency repairs
  • Assist in creating and updating maintenance procedures
  • Maintain detailed records of faults, repairs, and testing
  • Help set up production lines and monitor inventory and order spare parts
  • Work closely with Production and Account Managers
  • Take on other relevant tasks as requested

Requirements:

  • A solid general knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance is essential
  • An engineering qualification is desirable, but not mandatory
  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proactive approach to work
