Job Description

Site engineer purpose includes inspecting and installing equipment and new technologies, directing crews or workers on site, conducting research, and reporting on project status. Site engineers will make sure that everything works smoothly, and engineering designs are being followed. Inspect infrastructure and conduct research on site in order to solve problems.

Requirements

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • White Card
  • Minimum 6 months experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred
  • Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works – preferred
  • Experience in technical aspects of site projects, including machinery and equipment – preferred
  • Experience in civil and structural technical engineering – preferred
  • Experience in interpreting technical schedules and documentation – preferred
  • Experience in Contract comprehension – preferred
  • Process oriented, able to analyse complex issues
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across different levels
  • Sound interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to work to deadlines and targets and prioritise tasks under pressure
  • Strong Initiative and proactive nature
