Job Responsibility

  • Take ownership of features from technical design through to implementation and delivery
  • Write clean, readable, and production-ready code for key features
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand customer problems and deliver value
  • Contribute to a culture of quality by writing tests, performing code reviews, and leaving the codebase better than you found it

Requirements

  • Experience building web applications with backend technologies, like Ruby or Kotlin or Java
  • A solid understanding of software design principles and patterns
  • Familiarity with AWS, CDK, CI/CD pipelines, and event-driven architectures
  • Experience breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to write readable, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, including deploying and operating software in production

Nice to have

Experience with front-end technologies such as TypeScript, React, or Next.js
