Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, performing advanced troubleshooting, and ensuring safe use of tools and materials during repairs. The candidate will actively support the guests' needs, meet expected quality standards, and maintain strong teamwork while adhering to company practices.
Job Responsibility:
Respond and attend to guest repair requests
communicate with guests to resolve issues
perform preventative maintenance
visually inspect tools and equipment
carry tools and operate shut-off valves
maintain inventory and requisition supplies
report activities and problems using communication programs
mentor other engineers and lead engineering duties
troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems
adhere to safety policies and procedures
maintain confidentiality
anticipate guests’ service needs
uphold cleanliness and professionalism standards
perform physical tasks like lifting, bending, and stooping
perform highly complex repairs of mechanical systems
ensure all methods meet company and national standards.
Requirements:
Respond to guest repair requests
communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues
perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
carry equipment like tools or radio
identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment
maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
communicate daily activities and problems using approved programs and standards
read blueprints and electrical schematics concerning plumbing and HVAC
demonstrate proficiency in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building management
safely perform highly complex repairs on property, electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment, air conditioners, refrigeration and pool heaters
troubleshoot and perform repairs on equipment, plumbing, electrical items, HVAC equipment, internet devices, and other systems
use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
train and mentor other engineers when required
perform engineer on-duty responsibilities like readings and rounds
follow safety and security policies and procedures
report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries
complete required certifications and safety training
uphold professional appearance and confidentiality
adhere to quality expectations and standards
assist individuals with disabilities
lift objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
possess strong general mechanical ability
