Job Description:

The position requires advanced skills in maintenance and engineering operations, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various systems such as air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical. The role involves guest interaction, maintaining company standards, and supporting team collaboration.

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment
maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
display advanced ability to read standard blue prints and electrical schematics concerning plumbing and HVAC
troubleshoot and perform repairs on all types of equipment, plumbing, and electrical equipment
perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
display ability to train and mentor other engineers
perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
vocational or technical background
extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration
parts inventory and requisition
exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
at least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
valid Driver’s License
Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements.
