Job Description:
The Opportunity: Implements tactical and operational goals related to network architecture, infrastructure scalability, and IT service optimization. Contributes to the implementation of new network systems, infrastructure processes, security standards, and operational frameworks. Manages projects and operational network and infrastructure engineering workflows, such as overseeing system upgrades, cloud migrations, security enhancements, or optimization initiatives. Works on technical challenges with diverse scopes, requiring careful evaluation of factors such as network performance, security risks, hardware dependencies, and industry best practices. Derives solutions based on limited precedent, applying technical expertise and analytical thinking to address emerging IT infrastructure concerns. Identifies new approaches by integrating system diagnostics, data analysis, and performance metrics to ensure scalability and reliability. Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including IT operations, cybersecurity teams, software engineering, vendors, and customers, to support seamless infrastructure management and troubleshooting. Provides technical insights, ensuring alignment between networking solutions, security protocols, and business objectives. The Opportunity: Under general supervision, the Infrastructure Application Engineer is responsible for engineering and supporting infrastructure and platform services that enable enterprise-wide security capabilities. You will work closely with security architects, application owners, DevOps teams, and infrastructure engineers to design, implement and support robust, secure, and scalable systems that support the organization's security mission.
