Job Description:

Engineer II position at The Westin Reserva Conchal All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa. Responsible for guest repair requests, maintenance issues, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting hotel MEP systems. Requires technical background and hotel engineering experience.

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Carry equipment
Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts
Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
Perform repairs in categories including air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing
Use Lockout/Tagout system
Perform mid-level troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems
Train and mentor other engineers
Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
Valid Driver's License
