Job Description:

Engineer II position at JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa responsible for maintenance, repair, and engineering duties including guest repair requests, preventive maintenance, equipment inspection, and troubleshooting of hotel MEP systems.

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Carry equipment
Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and shut-offs for buildings
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts
Perform mid-level troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
Train and mentor other engineers
Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities including readings and rounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
Valid Driver's License
