Engineer II – IT Infrastructure Operations & Engineering will report to Senior Manager - IT Infrastructure Engineering & operations and will be part of the team that is responsible for providing Operations & support, design and architecture for all Network technology This entails: (1) Network design, implementation and configuration changes. (2) Partnering with business and IT teams in reviewing network requirements and designing and implementing solutions. (3) Assessing network capacity. (4) Assisting vendors with network patch deployments, hardware replacement and upgrades. Providing L2 & L3 assistance for Major incident & Managing operations & Projects (5) Managing Incidents & Work orders using ITSM frame work.

Job Responsibility

  • Support and troubleshooting of company's network infrastructure and services, including Cisco switches, routers, LAN/WAN, Checkpoint firewalls, Meraki Wireless Network
  • Excellent understanding of Design, Plan, Install, configure, and troubleshot of organizational network Infrastructure with limited supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate as a L2 troubleshooting skills set, in performing | resolving Network Infrastructure incidents & work orders independently
  • Demonstrate strong learning skills, in managing advanced configuration and troubleshooting on DC | Stores | Supply chain landscape
  • Manage & supervise Network operations Incident queue to ensure to meet the incidents & workorder SLA
  • Manage strong relationship with global team and look for any opportunity which can be enabled
  • Ensure the physical health checks for Stores | DC | Supply chain, escalate to next level to define opportunity & gaps in Network
  • Participates in rotational on-call duties to respond to escalated after-hours requests and deployments
  • Participates in Major Incidents and rotational on-call duties and respond to escalated after-hours requests

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ Years of hands-on experience supporting variety of routing | switching | Firewall | Cisco ISE | Load balancer technologies
  • Strong knowledge & troubleshooting skills on Cisco switches, Routers, firewalls (Checkpoint & Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
  • Knowledge of commonly used network concepts, protocols and topologies Knowledge of LAN/WAN| WLAN | SDWAN architecture and associated protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and HTTP/S
  • Good understanding of networking – routing, subnets, TCP, IP, Wireless and VLANs
