Job Description:

The role involves responding to repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, inspecting and operating tools and equipment, addressing guest issues, troubleshooting systems, and following company policies and safety standards. Applicants should possess some maintenance experience, communication skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment
inspect tools, equipment, or machines
carry equipment
identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves
maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
communicate each day’s activities and problems to other shifts
perform surface preparation, painting, drywall and wood trim repair, and cleanup
test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment
perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties
use Lockout/Tagout system
perform repairs on landscaping and sprinklers
develop and maintain positive working relationships
assist individuals with disabilities
speak with others using professional language
move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects
move up and down stairs and ladders
enter and locate work-related information on computers

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
driver’s license
some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus

Nice to have:

experience in hotel engineering or maintenance
