Engineer I

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests
• communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests
• communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
• perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment
• visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
• carry equipment
• identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings
• maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
• communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
• display basic knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, painting, drywall and wood trim repair, and general building
• troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment, plumbing, cosmetic items, internet devices, electrical components, and guestroom items
• program TVs and perform inventory duties
• use the Lockout/Tagout system
• perform repairs on landscaping and sprinklers
• display basic computer skills.

Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance
