Job Description:

As an Engineer I at Four Points by Sheraton Hefei Baohe, you'll perform a range of maintenance tasks including guest repair requests, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep of the hotel's tools and equipment. You'll contribute to a friendly environment while adhering to company standards and safety protocols.

Job Responsibility:

Respond to guest repair requests
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and mechanical equipment
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition supplies
Perform painting, drywall repair, and cleanup
Test and troubleshoot equipment and plumbing
Replace electrical switches and outlets
Program TVs and perform housekeeping-related inventory duties
Perform interior and exterior landscaping repairs
Use the Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Welcome and communicate with guests in a professional manner
Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
Driver’s License
Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus
