Engineer I

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests
• Perform preventative and basic maintenance on tools and equipment
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical, and guestroom items
• Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
• Paint and repair minor drywall and wood trim
• Perform inventory and requisition materials
• Maintain interior and exterior landscaping and sprinklers
• Provide exceptional guest service and uphold company standards
• Adhere to safety and security policies
• Move, lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
• Communicate daily activities with other shifts
• Use and input data into computers

• Basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building
• Licensed driver (Driver’s License required)
• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
• Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
