Job Description

The Engineer I, Supplier Relation will be responsible for directly communicating with manufacturers and suppliers primarily through phone calls and email to collect accurate, up‑to‑date technical and compliance information. The role requires using SE’s internal systems and tools to support customers by ensuring that all collected data is complete, reliable, and aligned with company standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Initiate and manage professional phone and email communications with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain technical and compliance documentation
  • Ensure accurate data collection and proper entry into SE internal systems and tools
  • Follow up with suppliers to close pending information requests and maintain data completeness
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve data discrepancies
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support smooth and efficient information flow
  • Uphold high standards of data accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all communications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • 1–2 years of experience in supplier communication, data collection, customer service, or a related field (an advantage)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong confidence in conducting professional phone calls
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Good organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Fluency in English (speaking, listening, and writing) is required

Nice to have

Basic understanding of AI, automation, or data analytics concepts is a plus
