Airbus Operations GmbH is looking for a Engineer for System Integration Tests and Analysis (d/f/m). We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer for System Integration Tests and Analysis to join our team at Airbus Operations GmbH. This role involves the comprehensive testing and analysis of complex aerospace systems, ensuring their robustness and performance through advanced simulation and numerical methods.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and execute integration test campaigns for various aircraft systems and sub-systems
Utilize Matlab / Simulink for the development of test benches, simulation models, and data analysis scripts
Perform Modelling & Simulation activities to predict system behavior, identify potential issues, and optimize performance
Conduct in-depth Numerical analysis and simulation of test data to identify root causes of failures, validate system requirements, and provide recommendations for design improvements
Collaborate with design engineers, software developers, and other test teams to ensure seamless system integration and efficient problem resolution
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, reports, and analysis results
Participate in design reviews and provide expert input on testability and system integration aspects
Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes, methodologies, and tools
Troubleshoot and debug complex system integration issues in a laboratory or flight test environment
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Proven experience with Matlab / Simulink for data acquisition, analysis, and control system development
Strong background in Modelling & Simulation of dynamic systems, preferably in an aerospace context
Expertise in Numerical analysis and simulation techniques, including finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, or similar methods
Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and development processes (e.g., ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254) is a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English
German language skills are a plus
Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and development processes (e.g., ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254)
German language skills
