Job Description:

This is a Global 24/7 customer escalation Team for HPE storage arrays. Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for storage array firmware / software configuration, performance, troubleshooting, debugging, fixing (code design and development)
  • Responsible for finding solutions to complex software and product design / test problems
  • Responsible for reviews of design and code developed by team
  • Responsible for understanding and preparing product requirements (Software requirement specification)
  • Responsible for analyzing and proposing solutions to customer issues
  • Responsible to interface the customer issues related to the product, and to handle them to adhere with SLA requirements
  • Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards
  • provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk
  • Develops relationships with internal and external development partners on software systems design and development
  • Collaborates with peers, senior engineers, technicians and external design partners
  • Committed and enthusiastic team player with a strong desire to collaborate in an interdependent team setting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Typically 2-4 years experience
  • Embedded system programming in one of the following areas: Servers, Storage or Networking
  • Experience in overall architecture of firmware and interaction with hardware designs for products and solutions
  • Demonstrable workable knowledge on system programming and debug skills in C / C++ / and scripting languages
  • Linux Kernel programming, device driver experience, multi-threaded programming
  • Working knowledge of FC, SCSI, iSCSI and FCoE protocols
  • Ability to work in team environment utilizing collaboration skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to get up to speed with current product architecture quickly
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
