Job Description

Patel, Greene and Associates (PGA) is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Professional Engineer (PE) to support and grow the Design-Based Solutions team. This role involves managing planning projects, leading technical efforts on complex tasks, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to marketing and client presentations. You'll apply your expertise in multimodal planning, data analysis, and conceptual roadway design across a range of transportation projects that directly impact safety and mobility in our communities. You’ll take ownership of planning and conceptual design tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, support business development, and serve as a technical resource with minimal supervision. Job Responsibility

  • Serve in the roles of Project Manager (PM), Lead Technical Professional (LTP), and sometimes Engineer of Record (EOR) on a variety of multimodal transportation planning and conceptual design projects
  • Lead designers, planners, and technicians in completing tasks, providing frequent peer reviews on their work
  • Lead technical writing and development of reports and proposals
  • Lead marketing efforts for less complex projects and assist with marketing efforts on larger, more complex projects
  • Assist Managers in a variety of project administrative duties
  • Complete tasks and projects within established supervisor’s expectations
  • Participate in relevant training sessions and conferences to stay current with industry developments

Requirements

  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
  • 0-10 years of progressively more complex post registration conceptual design and planning experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an ABET Accredited University, majoring in Civil or Environmental Engineering
