Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer. This role ensures the performance, hygiene, and uptime of machinery and equipment. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem-solving, this role offers variety, responsibility, and development.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain machinery and equipment to high hygienic and operational standards
  • Complete all preventative and reactive maintenance tasks according to schedules
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed and returned within set timeframes
  • Log all jobs on the computer system with accurate details and send end-of-shift handover emails
  • Report any defects or issues to the Head of Maintenance, Senior Engineer, or Packhouse Operations Manager
  • Maintain the Maintenance Workshop to BRC and customer audit standards
  • Ensure all work areas within the Packhouse are safely cordoned off during engineering tasks
  • Work collaboratively as part of the engineering team, providing flexibility and cover when required

Requirements
