Job Responsibility:

  • Execute & handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs
  • Diagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building
  • Respond to service requests regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in guest rooms or public area in a timely manner
  • Respond to all emergency conditions such as alarms, fires, power failures, etc
  • Electrical trouble shooting and repairs
  • Perform electrical setups for banquets, buffets and exhibits
  • Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel
  • Install or relocate any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary
  • Perform all duties as assigned by ADOE or DOE

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of HVAC & Plumbing systems operation and repairs
  • Life and Fire Safety System Knowledge
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
  • Mechanically inclined with all-around knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical and refrigeration
  • Hands-on capabilities for repairs
  • Steam and gas fired equipment knowledge
  • Knowledge of proper use and care of hand and power tools
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
  • Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance
  • Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment
  • High school education or equivalent experience
