Job Description:

Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for video streaming services and web applications at Xumo. Partners closely with backend, client, video, and data science engineering teams to analyze, test, deploy, and integrate applications and services. Automates operational tasks and documents system configurations and processes. Supports development teams and assists with training non-technical personnel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements
  • Conducts analysis to determine integration needs
  • Designs and maintains cloud infrastructure environments
  • Supports platforms under development
  • Enhances current DevOps tooling and pipelines
  • Assists with automated deployment processes, CI/CD improvements, and release roll-outs
  • Collaborates closely with teammates across engineering and operations
  • Participates in training representatives and operations staff on internally developed software applications
  • Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements
  • Monitors and evaluates competitive technologies, cloud services, and DevOps products
  • Provides technical leadership throughout infrastructure and deployment design processes
  • Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level DevOps Engineers
  • Works with Quality Assurance, development teams, and platform teams to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements
  • Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 Years of relevant work experience
  • Solid experience and practical knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills and their application
  • In-depth knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply, project management skills
