Job Description

We are seeking a RAN Engineer Operations 2nd Line to support the quality, stability, and performance of the mobile access network. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, problem management, operational excellence, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams within DNOC operations. The ideal individual brings strong analytical skills, customer orientation, and deep technical expertise in mobile radio access technologies.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities and manage incidents within the radio access network to ensure continuous service quality
  • Monitor and safeguard network performance and service availability
  • Collaborate closely with DNOC operational teams to resolve technical issues and enhance processes
  • Implement operational procedures and strategic initiatives to support best-in-class network operations
  • Maintain a strong focus on network stability and support optimisation of interworking processes

Requirements

  • Possess an in-depth understanding of mobile access networks and related technologies
  • Demonstrate strong customer orientation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage tasks independently while working effectively within a collaborative environment
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written) and knowledgeable or keen to learn German
  • Bring excellent communication and presentation capabilities
  • Hold a university degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Information Technology
  • Have at least 5 years of 2nd line operational support experience within Vodafone environments
  • Thrive as a committed and adaptable team player
