Job Responsibility:
Operating test equipment and conducting investigations to obtain, analyse, and summarise critical data
Recording results through curves, charts, and sketches for inclusion in technical reports
Working directly with components and test rigs, including the use of hand/power tools and lifting equipment
Adhering to strict health and safety policies and maintaining a clean work area in line with 5S and TPM standards
Assisting with technical investigations for both current and future green energy product solutions
Requirements:
Background in fuel injection departments and engine component testing
Proficiency in laying strain gauges, soldering electronic components, instrumentation setup, and basic data capture
Experience with ultrasonic bolt monitoring and slip torque testing
High level of accuracy and attention to detail when following complex written instructions
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise across various levels of the organisation
Competence in MS Office packages
An engineering or motor mechanics apprenticeship is highly desirable
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
