Based at their state-of-the-art Research & Development Centre in Peterborough, this is a chance to work within a culture of autonomy and excellence, helping to develop the next generation of power solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operating test equipment and conducting investigations to obtain, analyse, and summarise critical data
  • Recording results through curves, charts, and sketches for inclusion in technical reports
  • Working directly with components and test rigs, including the use of hand/power tools and lifting equipment
  • Adhering to strict health and safety policies and maintaining a clean work area in line with 5S and TPM standards
  • Assisting with technical investigations for both current and future green energy product solutions

Requirements:

  • Background in fuel injection departments and engine component testing
  • Proficiency in laying strain gauges, soldering electronic components, instrumentation setup, and basic data capture
  • Experience with ultrasonic bolt monitoring and slip torque testing
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when following complex written instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise across various levels of the organisation
  • Competence in MS Office packages
  • An engineering or motor mechanics apprenticeship is highly desirable
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
