Join a supportive UK-based remote team as a Junior SME, where you'll work with EngageOne Designer to create dynamic customer communications. This role requires hands-on experience with document composition tools, HTML, and CSS. You'll manage workflows in JIRA, execute test cases, and contribute to documentation. Job Responsibility:

  • Be hands-on with EngageOne Designer, building and maintaining dynamic customer communications within the utilities space that meet precise business and technical specs
  • Design correspondence templates and implement them in production-ready formats
  • Ensure everything is scalable, standards-compliant, and delivered on time
  • Execute robust test cases using varied data sets to validate both logic and layout
  • Manage and update pre-process scripts and EngageOne configuration files
  • Package releases for deployment across UAT and production environments
  • Contribute to and maintain functional specs and internal technical docs
  • Design and implement email templates that meet branding and delivery standards
  • Manage workflow in JIRA Cloud, following agile processes, logging updates clearly, and keeping stakeholders informed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or live issues efficiently

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Graphic Design
  • Hands-on experience with EngageOne Designer or similar document composition tools
  • Some exposure to graphic design software
  • Experience managing and updating configuration files or batch scripts
  • Understanding of how to work with structured input data (e.g., pipe-delimited formats)
  • Solid grasp of programming concepts and Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of HTML and CSS
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, communicates clearly, and manages workload with precision
  • Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and a sharp eye for detail
