The Engagement Officer will support stakeholder and community engagement activities for the Cattle Creek Wind Farm, with flexibility to assist other Queensland projects. The role focuses on delivering engagement activities, maintaining strong relationships with landholders and regional stakeholders, and supporting the project’s community engagement commitments.
Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver engagement activities (landholder meetings, community sessions, briefings)
Support implementation of the Community & Stakeholder Engagement Plan (CSEP)
Represent RWE at meetings with community groups, Council, local businesses and Traditional Owners
Manage stakeholder enquiries and maintain accurate stakeholder records
Coordinate engagement materials (newsletters, FAQs, fact sheets) and event logistics
Support site-based activities including photo gathering, issue identification and meeting coordination
Manage the Cattle Creek sponsorship fund and maintain local relationships
Requirements:
Qualifications in communications, community engagement, social sciences, planning or similar
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder or community engagement
Strong relationship-building, communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage sensitive issues and multiple tasks
Willingness to travel to project sites
Must have a Driver's Licence
Nice to have:
IAP2 accreditation or equivalent experience is desirable
