Job Description:

We are looking for an organized and personable Engagement Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth interactions with volunteers and supporting their on-site experience. This position is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the social care sector.

Job Responsibility:

  • Welcome and check in volunteers upon their arrival, ensuring a friendly and efficient process
  • Act as a liaison by frequently moving between the entrance and the volunteer room to provide assistance and maintain coordination
  • Offer exceptional customer service by addressing questions or concerns from volunteers with attention to detail
  • Maintain accurate records of volunteer check-ins and ensure all necessary information is documented
  • Foster a positive and welcoming environment for volunteers, encouraging engagement and participation
  • Communicate effectively via email and phone to provide updates or answer inquiries as needed
  • Assist with organizing volunteer schedules and ensuring all roles are adequately filled
  • Support the team in maintaining a well-organized and functional volunteer room
  • Handle inbound calls and provide relevant information to callers in a clear and helpful manner.
