We are looking for an Engagement Coordinator to support a welcoming resident-focused environment in Lexington, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who brings enthusiasm, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to keep activities and schedules running smoothly. The person in this role will help create meaningful daily experiences for residents while serving as a dependable point of coordination for calendars, communication, and service-related needs.
Job Responsibility
Create an engaging and inclusive atmosphere by encouraging resident participation in programs, activities, and community events
Coordinate schedules, maintain calendars, and organize daily or weekly plans to ensure activities and appointments are communicated clearly
Provide attentive customer service to residents, families, and team members by responding promptly to questions and requests
Support the planning and execution of onsite engagement programs designed to promote connection, enjoyment, and participation
Accompany residents on occasional outings or day trips while helping ensure a positive and well-organized experience
Collaborate closely with coworkers and leadership to keep engagement plans aligned with resident needs and operational priorities
Track activity details, schedule updates, and participation information to help maintain organized program support
Contribute to a detail-focused community setting by following established workplace expectations and presenting a neat, business-casual appearance
Requirements
Prior experience in customer service, resident support, hospitality, education, counseling, special education, or a related people-centered role
Demonstrated ability to manage calendars, coordinate schedules, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
Comfortable supporting residents in person and participating in occasional offsite activities or local day trips
Ability to work a Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule, with every other weekend required after the initial onboarding period
Detail-oriented demeanor and comfort working in a business-casual environment
Successful completion of pre-employment screening requirements, which may include screenings for all candidates, health-related screenings, references, and vaccination documentation or applicable declination forms
