At HEXA, Application Coordinator will manage the application process for prospective tenants, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all parties involved. This role will work closely with property managers, tenants, and various stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the tenant application process from initial inquiry to lease signing
Review and verify tenant applications, including background checks and credit reports
Communicate with applicants to gather necessary documentation and provide updates on application status
Collaborate with property management teams to ensure timely processing of applications
Maintain accurate records of applications, approvals, and denials in our property management software
Respond to inquiries from applicants, property owners, and real estate agents regarding application procedures
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies
Assist in training staff on application procedures and software usage
Prepare regular reports on application status and trends for management review
Requirements:
Background: Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business Administration
OR 2-3 years of experience in tenant services, customer service, property management, or a related operational role (knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations is preferred)
Language & Communication: Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
Tools: Proficiency in property management software, CRM system and digital communication tools
Remote Expertise: Proven experience in remote work
or, if new to remote, must demonstrate high tech-savviness and a fast, adaptable learning style
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations is preferred
