Job Description:

Global, Big 4 management consultancy seeks 4 x Energy Trading Strategy Consultants and Senior Consultants to join either their London or Doha offices. Joining their Global Energy Trading Strategy Consulting Team, based out of either their London or Doha offices, you'll work with many of the world's largest Oil & Gas Majors, Utilities, Hedge Funds and Investment Banks helping them to optimize their trading strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity for very bright, dynamic energy trading professionals, who have gained some solid experience working either for another consultancy or energy/commodity trading house, who are keen to move into strategy consulting with the World's largest energy traders.

Job Responsibility:

Trading strategy & optimisation: Advising energy trading clients on market entry, trading value-pool assessment, portfolio optimisation, algo-strategy design & enablement, leading the design of integrated trading models combining commercial and operational levers
Operating model & data foundations: Designing and implementing trading operating models, book structures, M&A integration strategies, governance frameworks, data foundation models and E/CTRM designs
Travel 50% of the time to client site across the UK, Europe, Middle East & Singapore

Requirements:

3 years+ (Consultant) or 7 years+ (Senior Consultant) gained working in energy trading, either in a similar energy trading strategy consulting role (internal or external), business change, business analysis (could be ETRM), risk analysis, product control analysis, trading etc
It is 100% essential that you do have at least 3 years energy trading related experience, ideally in Power, Natural Gas, LNG or Oil, but you could have worked in other Commodities (Metals, Agricultural Commodities, Carbon, Emissions etc)
Excellent academics including a Bachelor's degree or above from a leading university
Flexibility and eagerness to travel Globally (50% of time) to meet clients across the UK, Europe (London & Geneva mainly), Middle East (Dubai & Doha mainly) & Singapore
