  • Present proposals and product information in a professional manner using the available resources
  • Promote 1st Choice Energy ’s corporate image in all business interactions with prospective clients
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions
  • Track sales activity and prospects with next steps for all leads and customers
  • Work closely with 1st Choice Energy management, customer service, drivers, and credit department
  • Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers, and customers
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver projects and results in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales goals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience networking for lead generation
  • History of consistent success in high activity sales
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various sales software utilized by Heritage Cooperative and 1st Choice Energy
  • Superb negotiation skills
  • Valid driver's license, with acceptable driving record
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
  • Willingness to travel within customer base or other Heritage Cooperative branches with the possibility of occasional overnight stays
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 5+ years of successful sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of equivalent experience
