Drive Energy business development across Alberta with full provincial coverage, focusing on process and power piping infrastructure for large-scale projects. Build relationships with consultants, owners, contractors, and support local Victaulic distributors across the territory. The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for providing Alberta provincial coverage while managing and developing long-term relationships with key clients in the Energy Sector. This role involves understanding client needs, offering tailored energy piping solutions, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and driving growth through account retention and expansion.
Job Responsibility:
Provide Alberta provincial coverage for energy sector opportunities
Develop value-added proposals and presentations highlighting cost savings through Victaulic solutions
Establish and maintain qualified project pipeline for Energy Sector opportunities
Build strategic account plans for key owners and industrial contractors
Coordinate with Regional Managers and Infrastructure/Energy market team
Maintain updated project databases and submit regular territory reports
Provide technical training to office and field personnel
Classify customers based on project potential and develop targeted account strategies
Understand clients’ business objectives, sustainability goals, and operational challenges
Requirements:
College or University degree preferred
2-5 years of outside sales experience in construction markets
Strong understanding of value-based selling methodology
Excellent mechanical aptitude and technical communication skills
Self-motivated team player with strong organizational abilities
Comfortable with travel (50%) for territory coverage
Professional demeanor with consultants, contractors, and owners
