Job Responsibility

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of inside and outside sales representatives
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Generate new business through networking, strategic partnerships, and direct sales efforts
  • Conduct sales calls and attend key customer meetings independently and alongside team members
  • Monitor, track, and manage sales pipelines and performance through CRM systems
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and forecasts to guide decision-making
  • Provide regular reporting and performance updates to leadership
  • Participate in and lead sales meetings, training, and coaching sessions
  • Support team members in closing deals and overcoming sales challenges
  • Create and review proposals, pricing strategies, and customer contracts
  • Educate customers and the business community on energy products and services
  • Collaborate with operations, customer service, drivers, and credit departments
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
  • Travel frequently to client sites and company locations, occasional overnight stays
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience
  • Proven leadership or team management experience
  • Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales software
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • Experience in energy markets, procurement, or risk management
  • Prior experience managing inside and outside sales teams
