Job Responsibility:

  • Performs weekly or monthly inventory procedures, reconciles driver inventories, and reconciles general ledger purchases in inventory.
  • Provides customer service in a timely and accurate manner to increase customer satisfaction, maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization.
  • Reconcile all salesmen, warehouse, bulk plant, and fast stop energy inventories.
  • Post inventory transfers as needed.
  • Ensure all purchase receipts and sales are imported.
  • Perform physical observations at locations based on a pre-planned annual calendar.
  • Provides Management with monthly shrink reports.
  • Ability to learn and utilize accounting software and adapt to ongoing changes that increase operational efficiencies.
  • Complies with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations
  • Ensure cleanliness of office space.
  • Assist with various Energy projects as needed, that require attention to detail.
  • Supports all managers/salespeople with Energy activities.
  • Utilizes organization, time management and problem-solving skills to perform work efficiently and effectively.
  • Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Normally requires an Associate’s degree (A.A.), or the equivalent thereof, and 1 – 3 years or more of clerical related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of professional communication skills, customer service, and ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)
  • Demonstrate essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • May be required to work extended hours beyond those considered “normal” to meet seasonal demands.
  • Work is conducted mainly in a typical office environment, with slight exposure to other warehousing or storage facilities with generally satisfactory conditions, sometimes in a noisy, open area while interacting with team members and serving customer’s needs.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
