Job Description

The ideal candidate will be entering their junior or senior year in pursuit of a 4-year Engineering related degree. The successful candidate shall be employed as a part-time Associate (up to 16 hours per week) during the school year and a full-time (40 hours per week) Associate during the summer and extended breaks. The position may lead to full-time employment with the engineering firm upon graduation.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting site managers with field data collection and energy calculations to be used in proposed energy saving projects and clean / renewable energy initiatives
  • Collection and review of field data to be used in retrocommissioning reports and clean energy project proposals
  • Assist field engineers with retrocommissioning tests performed on various pieces of mechanical equipment to generate clean energy / renewable energy project proposals
  • Assist field engineers with collection of mechanical equipment field data and generation of building asset inventories to generate clean energy / renewable energy project proposals

Requirements

  • Aptitude for working in a process oriented, detail focused atmosphere
  • Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
  • Must be results driven and capable of adapting to change
  • Must be self-directed and motivated
  • Strong Technical Aptitude
  • Strength in editing skills, and writing skills, with the ability to coordinate a diverse group
  • Good oral presentation, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative information
  • Candidates with an interest in Energy Management are preferred
  • Any Engineering Discipline (Mechanical and Electrical Preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
