Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B Sales / Business Development in a technical industry related to energy
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of energy systems
  • Valid current passport with no travel restrictions to foreign countries (including DUIs)
  • Proven experience building a book of business, scouting new accounts, and maintaining strong business relationships
  • Experience creating and responding to RFPs and RFQs with professional proposals
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time, work efficiently remotely, and work in office in Dallas as needed

Nice to have

  • Experience with international business in Canada and Mexico
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Maintain a current understanding of customer missions, capability gaps, budgets and acquisition plans to position GM Defense solutions early
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships within the War Department and other U.S. Government customers, Prime Defense contractors, strategic partners and industry influencers
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with customers and teammates to develop requirements, acquisition strategies, timing and budgets
