Job Description

The position involves working in an established office using proven sales approaches to offer strategic energy consultancy advice. Candidates will manage supplier relationships, customer accounts, and provide strategic energy insights to clients while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Obtain potential customers current energy bills
  • Sign customers into contracts with new billing tariffs
  • Work to achieve set targets
  • Manage supplier expectations, leverage relationships for market insight and additional services
  • Manage customer accounts and deal with any queries appropriately
  • Advise on ESG/Eco targets for customers, and provide any necessary consultation for the install of self-generation equipment
  • Carefully analyse commodity futures to ensure customer contracts are maximising changes to wholesale energy costs
  • Provide reports for customers where necessary (consumption, ESOS, SECR data requirements)
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory guidelines in all interactions with customers and suppliers
  • Advice on, and action, any technical issues with metering or delivery systems

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a B2B energy sales environment will be a distinct advantage
  • A-C grade GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths, Science and English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong written/admin skills

  • Organised with a keen eye for detail
