We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Management Specialist with deep expertise in Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM). This role is central to ensuring secure, dependable, and scalable management of our customer environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical capability with a strategic mindset, enabling modern device management while supporting legacy environments during transition.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager environments
  • Manage the full life-cycle of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices using modern management principles
  • Develop and maintain device compliance, configuration, and security policies
  • Oversee application deployment, updates, and patch management across all managed endpoints
  • Maintain and optimise co-management or tenant-attach configurations where applicable
  • Implement and enforce endpoint security baselines, conditional access policies, and Zero Trust-aligned controls
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure device posture meets organisational and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities through integrated tools such as Defender for Endpoint
  • Create and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell preferred) to streamline endpoint operations
  • Improve deployment processes, device provisioning, and user on-boarding through Autopilot and related technologies
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance endpoint management processes for efficiency and reliability
  • Monitor system health, performance, and compliance across Intune and Configuration Manager
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to device enrolment, policy application, software deployment, and patching
  • Provide Tier 3 support for endpoint-related incidents and escalations
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams
  • Work closely with infrastructure, security, and service desk teams to ensure cohesive endpoint operations
  • Contribute to endpoint management strategy, roadmap planning, and modernisation initiatives

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) and Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale enterprise device environments
  • Expertise in Windows client management, MDM/MAM, Autopilot, patch management, and compliance policies
  • Solid understanding of Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, and identity-driven security
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with Defender for Endpoint or similar endpoint security platforms
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Initiative-taking and solution-oriented mindset
  • Effective communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Passion for modern endpoint management and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and operating Intune and SCCM in large enterprises

  • Experience providing Tier 3 support and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant IT or Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or comparable qualifications are a plus
  • Irish/EU Citizen or Stamp 4 Visa holder
