Job Description:

This role will focus on designing, building, and supporting enterprise devices while helping shape the direction of endpoint technology across the environment. This position works closely with senior engineers and architects to improve how devices are deployed, managed, and secured. This person in this position will play an important role in technical decision-making and endpoint strategy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designing and maintaining enterprise device configurations across multiple operating systems
  • Building and packaging desktop images for large-scale device deployments
  • Supporting enterprise endpoint management and software deployment processes
  • Helping define standards for device security, connectivity, and system management
  • Troubleshooting complex endpoint issues and partnering with support teams on resolution
  • Contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and stability across the environment
  • Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for critical support needs

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, LDAP)
  • Experience with virtualization and enterprise systems
  • Experience building and packaging desktop images for enterprise device deployment is required
  • Experience deploying and managing software updates and patches
  • Ability to monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Understanding of networking basics such as LAN, WAN, VPN, and TCP/IP
