The End User Support Technician role involves providing technical support to office and manufacturing users, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Candidates should have strong Windows OS knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and A+ certification. A high school diploma is required, with an undergraduate degree preferred. The position requires 6-9 years of relevant experience.
Job Responsibility:
Provide in-person and remote technical support for office and plant floor users and devices.
Provide IT support and customer services, to ensure the users are satisfied with their IT support experience.
Own the issues through resolution.
Provide onsite in person technical support for office users and manufacturing plant users and devices.
May make policy recommendations to managers and be an escalation point for less experienced team members.
Perform troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers / tablets.
May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions.
Identify potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and takes corrective action.
Interact directly with clients and other internal and external sources to resolve issues.
Provide level 1 smart hands support for network and server issues.
Follow up with clients to ensure high satisfaction on issue resolution.
Requirements:
Typically requires 6-9 years relevant experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred
Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment
Excellent customer/client service skills
Verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations and conflict resolution
A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required
