Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled End User Migration Technician to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a Contract position where you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless setup, maintenance, and support of end-user devices. Bring your expertise in hardware installation and troubleshooting to help deliver exceptional technical support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and associated devices to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide hands-on assistance with cable installations and ensure proper connectivity for end-user systems
  • Support and maintain Dell Technologies and Apple devices, addressing any technical issues that arise
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth migration process for end-user systems
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent hardware failures or disruptions
  • Document technical procedures and solutions to maintain accurate records for future reference
  • Respond promptly to user requests and provide efficient resolutions to technical problems
  • Train end-users on basic hardware functions and troubleshooting techniques as needed
  • Ensure all hardware installations comply with organizational standards and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with computer hardware and associated devices in a technical support capacity
  • Proficiency in installing and maintaining cable connections for IT systems
  • Hands-on experience with Dell Technologies and Apple devices, including troubleshooting and support
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with end-users and team members
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
