Job Responsibility:

  • Daily service checks: Perform essential daily checks and monitoring tests across the live environment to verify core platform functionality, data freshness, and accurate price/availability
  • E2E testing: Execute detailed manual and automated end-to-end test cases for new features, regression testing, and system integration testing across Web, Android, and iOS devices
  • Defect triage & prevention: Accurately identify, reproduce, and document software defects and discrepancies, providing clear steps, expected results, and impact analysis in our bug tracking system (Jira). Your goal is zero user-reported bugs
  • Release assurance: Participate actively in release cycles, performing final smoke and sanity tests to ensure high quality before every production deployment
  • Test case maintenance: Create, update, and maintain robust test cases and test data in our test management tool, ensuring test coverage remains high
  • Automation contribution: Work with the QA Team Lead to learn and contribute to test automation scripts (e.g., using Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks) for repetitive and critical flows
  • API testing: Perform basic functional and regression testing on integration APIs using tools like Postman
  • Developer liaison: Collaborate directly with developers to ensure defects are clearly understood and resolved quickly
  • participate in feature discussions to identify testing risks early
  • User Focus (Voice of the User): Act as the relentless internal advocate for the user, consistently approaching testing from a user-centric perspective to ensure the product meets high quality, usability, and functional standards

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of professional experience in a hands-on QA Tester role
  • Proven experience in end-to-end manual testing for high-traffic Web and/or Mobile applications (iOS and Android)
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management systems
  • A basic knowledge of API testing concepts and ability to read logs or use developer tools to analyze root causes
  • Exceptional focus on detail and a methodical, organized approach to testing and reporting
  • Clear, concise communication skills in English, both written (for bug reports) and verbal (for team collaboration)
  • Self-motivation and are able to manage testing activities across multiple sprints and features simultaneously
  • A passion for the travel industry and enthusiasm for testing a global, consumer-facing product
