Job Description

As an Enabling Works Assistant for XEIAD, part of British Engineering Services Group, you will support the rail and highways teams with all de-vegetation and enabling work requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • support the rail and highways teams with all de-vegetation and enabling work requirements
  • Undertake works such as: Vegetation removal, Debris removal, Fence removal & reinstatement, Cladding removal & reinstatement, Chamber removal & reinstatement, Dewatering of culverts & CCTV Examinations
  • Deliver works safely and in accordance with the Contract Specification and programme of works
  • Ensuring that the team follow the Company Process & Procedures whilst adhering to the Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards

Requirements

  • Recent experience as an operative in a railway or site environment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Full UK driving licence
  • flexible to work across the Southern and Western Routes, including travel and occasional work away from home
  • prepared to work nightshifts and weekends
