Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable EMT II or higher to serve in a hybrid role supporting remote operations on the North Slope of Alaska. This position combines administrative, medical, and emergency response responsibilities to ensure the health, safety, and operational readiness of onsite personnel. The successful candidate will support industrial operations by providing emergency medical care, occupational health services, and camp coordination functions while maintaining readiness for emergency response.

Job Responsibility:

  • Staff and manage the front desk to support daily operations and communication
  • Coordinate camp billeting, ensuring accurate room assignments and occupancy tracking
  • Support and maintain readiness of the Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT) for onsite emergencies
  • Provide EMT-level emergency medical care to employees and contractors as needed
  • Conduct Drug and Alcohol testing in compliance with company policy and regulatory standards
  • Perform Occupational Health testing such as audiometry, spirometry, respirator fit testing, and other screening services
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and assist with communication between onsite personnel and medical support staff

Requirements:

  • Current Alaska EMT II certification or higher (required)
  • Current BLS certification (required)
  • ACLS and PHTLS certifications preferred
  • Experience in occupational health, industrial EMS, or remote medical environments preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote industrial setting
