Job Description:

A top ranking Legal 500 full service law firm in central Leeds is recruiting for an NQ employment solicitor due to expansion. Fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading employment teams working on a wide range of interesting non-contentious employment matters, with plenty of support and staff development.

Job Responsibility:

working on non-contentious employment matters
handling TUPE transfers
addressing unfair dismissals
providing HR advice
handling employment tribunals
dealing with disciplinary cases
drafting restrictive covenants
managing settlement agreements
structuring exit packages

Requirements:

NQ solicitor with an employment seat
NQ solicitor with previous employment paralegal experience
interest in employment law
ability to work on non-contentious employment matters

Nice to have:

experience in TUPE transfers
knowledge of unfair dismissals
ability to provide HR advice
handling employment tribunals
understanding of disciplinary actions
familiarity with restrictive covenants
knowledge of settlement agreements
experience with exit packages
