A well-established, Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked City firm is seeking a 4+ PQE Employment Solicitor to join its highly regarded Employment & Pensions team. The firm has a strong national reputation and acts for a substantial client base across England & Wales, including a significant number of registered providers alongside corporate organisations, developers and investment clients. Job Responsibility:
Manage own varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
Advising on disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence matters
TUPE advice and drafting
Conducting Employment Tribunal litigation (with some advocacy where appropriate)
Advising on industrial relations and strike action
Supporting on restructures and organisational change
Undertaking due diligence and assisting on projects with a people element
Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements
Delivering training to clients
Supporting partners on complex matters
Play an active role in client relationship management and business development initiatives
Requirements:
Be 4+ years’ PQE, qualified in England & Wales
Have strong technical employment law expertise
Be confident managing their own caseload
Demonstrate commercial awareness and strong client handling skills
Be organised, proactive and detail-oriented
