You’ll work closely with experienced senior colleagues on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The work is varied, intellectually stimulating and offers regular exposure to a mix of clients, from SMEs to larger corporates and public sector bodies.
Job Responsibility:
Advising clients on a broad spectrum of employment issues including contracts, grievances, disciplinary procedures, redundancies, TUPE and tribunals
Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements
Supporting on Employment Tribunal claims – drafting pleadings, preparing bundles and attending hearings where appropriate
Assisting with corporate support work, including due diligence on employment aspects of transactions
Contributing to client training, seminars, and marketing initiatives
Ensuring files are managed in line with internal procedures and compliance requirements
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor (or due to qualify shortly)
Up to 3 years' post-qualification experience in employment law
Strong interest in employment law
Confident, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a client-facing role
Keen to learn, take on responsibility and be part of a growing team
