Under general supervision, provides customer service to individuals to ensure that qualifications and needs for employment and training services are met. Ensure business needs are met by developing and filling employment needs and offering and providing DWS agency information and coordinated services.

Ensure business needs are met by developing and filling employment needs and offering DWS agency information and coordinated services
Provides services to individuals by coordinating and executing a broad range of individual services in accordance with Federal and State program guidelines
Confers with employers to develop and fill employment and vocational training openings
Refers applicants to employment or other community resources
Assesses and evaluates client skills, education, and training
Assists, directs, and counsels claimants and job applicants
Interviews assess and evaluate customers to meet employment, training, and vocational needs
Enters and monitors data in an electronic system for job postings, candidate file searches, and program reporting
Assists, directs, and counsels business customers on DWS coordinated business services, training grants, and resources
Provides on-site business visits to understand employer needs, operations, and job openings
Organizes and/or participates in community events designed to connect business needs and job seekers
Works with Program Staff to ensure compliance with the Department of Labor case management standards
Refers applicants to employers and follows up on the hiring process
Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Manage participant caseload and accurately document performance and services to participants
Provides case management
Provides Career counseling and guidance
Administers career interest assessments
Maintains case files
Monitors the progress of participants in various programs
Assesses client needs, provides basic career services, and may develop a long-term employment plan
Provides a holistic approach to services and provides referrals for additional support
Provides employment services to people who may have significant barriers to employment
Enters or monitors data for information to be used in the particular program/division
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (typically in Business or Human Services)
0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Business or Human Services)
OR 3-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business or Human Services) as a substitution for education
Knowledge of state and federal statutes relative to employment and Agency programs
Knowledge of departmental policies, customer service standards, and inter-agency protocols
Knowledge of labor market information for the State of Wyoming
Knowledge of administering and interpreting interest, skills, and proficiency tools
Knowledge of case management practices
Skills in public speaking, oral, written, and electronic communication, and record-keeping
Skills in establishing rapport with partner services
Skills in using logic and reasoning
Ability to actively listen to others
Travel within the state is required
Nice to have:

Valid driver's license
